About Berbaloi
Berbaloi helps you work out what's actually wrong, what you need to fix it, and whether anything is worth buying.

Why this exists
Search for almost any household or gadget problem and you land on a list of ten products with affiliate links, written by someone who never had the problem. The part you actually needed — working out what is wrong — is missing.
Berbaloi starts at the other end. Every page begins with the problem and a straight answer, then explains how to identify which version of the problem you have. Products come after that, if they come at all.
What “berbaloi” means
Berbaloi is Malay for “worth it”. Cheap is not the same as worth it, and expensive is not the same as good. The whole site is built around that distinction.
How we make money
Affiliate links. When we point you at a retailer and you buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not sell products, we do not process payments, and we do not hold stock.
The honest tension is obvious: we earn when you buy. Our answer is that a page telling you to buy nothing, or to buy a RM5 part instead of a RM200 kit, is the reason anyone would come back. Read how we recommend for the full method.
What we don't do
We do not claim to have tested products we have not tested. We do not publish star ratings or review counts we did not collect. We do not invent prices — where we have not verified a price, we say so and send you to check the retailer listing yourself.
Where this is at
Berbaloi is new. The library is small and marked as starter content where it is. The guidance is real, but retailer listings and prices are still being added.
